Happy Pappy's Country Store opened its doors in October of 2010. This business for us is all about family. At any given time you enter the store or come too one of our events you could find as many as 4 generations of family gathered there!
We are proud to embrace our past and keep traditions alive, while striving too add a new twist on some old favorites. Pappy's love of gardening / making preserves where passed on too him by his grandparents. Though the gardens he grew up in would of never had Scorpion Peppers or Elephant Head Amaranth, and preserves his grandmother made would of never included Blueberry Habanero BBQ Sauce or Mountain Dew Jelly! As part of our commitment to being family / community oriented we have also tried too be as involved as possible with local non-profits. Our biggest contribution of time and effort goes to Rochester Main Street , a non-profit focused on bringing together everyone too preserve the history of our downtown as well as working too create a brighter future both socially, economically and visually. Pappy has served as the head of Events Committee, and served as Treasurer, Vice President and currently is the President. We also support The New Hampshire Renaissance Faire a great non-profit that helps support Meals on Wheels and the NH Food Bank. We have worked with the Cocheco Valley Humane Society, Granite State Choral Society, and many more. We are always looking to build partnerships with our community and encourage anyone who would like too work with us too please contact us
